Short Uganda Safaris Tour Holidays

If you are looking for a “hidden gem” in Africa, look no further than Uganda. A variety of wildlife experiences, such as gorilla trekking and lion climbing, outshine many other destinations, but the number of visitors to places like Kenya and Tanzania is negligible. The landlocked country offers spectacular scenery, from great lakes feeding the River Nile to rainforest-capped volcanoes and vast savannas, and is home to a rich diversity of wildlife and birdlife.

At Kc Short Uganda Safaris Tour Holidays, we have been designing personalized holidays for over 20 years. Our African experts are happy to help you plan your Short Uganda Safaris Tour adventure. Whether a safaris tour is on our website or a multi-center holiday in Uganda and one of its neighbors, contact us.

The Mountain Gorillas of Uganda

Just over 1,000 mountain gorillas remain in the wild, nearly half in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the rest in the Virunga Mountains, a cordillera of extinct volcanoes that straddles the border between the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Uganda. Most mountain gorillas live in groups, each led by a dominant silverback who takes responsibility for their well-being. They decide where to eat, protect the herd from tigers and other gorillas, and take care of the offspring if the mother dies or leaves the herd.

To witness this social behavior in the animal kingdom and the size and strength of these intelligent primates, a gorilla safaris tour to Uganda is a truly positive experience.

Short Uganda Gorilla Safaris Tour Experiences

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest can take up to 6 hours depending on which gorilla family you want to see and whether they have progressed since your last sighting. The walk is generally of moderate difficulty, undulating in places and sometimes through dense vegetation. If you’re looking for a nine-to-five getaway, Uganda Gorilla Trek is as far away as possible!

The landscapes of Bwindi, as well as those of the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park on the slopes of the Virunga Mountains, are out of this world. You wake up in the morning to look at the pristine rainforest, the tallest trees often covered in fog. During the Short Uganda Safaris Tour, you will also see other amazing plants and birds of East Africa.

Gorilla numbers are slowly increasing thanks to conservation efforts, partially funded in Uganda with a $ 700 fee for a gorilla permit, which includes park admission and an unforgettable hour with this amazing primate. Permits are limited to 8 people per gorilla group per day, so advance booking is highly recommended. Kc Short Uganda Safaris Tour Holidays include the cost of vacation permits in Uganda and Rwanda.
